Slip D Rig
What you will need..

Hook of your choice
Coated Hook link of your choice
Bait screw/micro swivel
Heat shrink tubing
Scissors
Rig tool
Strip off 12mm of coating & tie a overhand knot at the very end of the stripped section, this is to stop the D slipping. The end of the braid can also be blobbed with a lighter to stop it fraying.

Form a small loop & pop on your bait screw/micro swivel by passing the loop through the eye. Either is fine but for this demonstration we will be using a screw. This is to mount your bait on once the rig is complete.

Place the loop end as shown onto the shank of hook, this is done by threading the loop over the point of the hook. The bottom of the loop needs to be level with the point of the hook.

Perform a knotless knot by passing the lose end through the back of the eye towards the point, trapping the tag end inside the knotless knot. Then continue to whip from the eye down, Five or Six times is sufficient. Now put the end of your hook link material back through the eye back towards the point & pull tight.

Next get your shrink tube (around 12mm) & thread it down the braid so it covers the eye of the hook. Steam over a kettle until its fully shrank down. This will keep it all in place also aiding the hook to turn once its in a carps mouth.

Now the hooking arrangement piece of the rig is finished tie your lose end to a size 8 swivel. The length of the rig is entirely up to you depending on your fishing situation.

The rig is now ready to be baited with your chosen hook bait & is complete.
