Bev Clifford is once again encouraging all anglers to take a female fishing later this month as part of Women’s Sport Week.
Following the success of last year’s campaign, in which hundreds of females ventured on to the bank to sample the delights of carp fishing, Bev is hoping even more will get out there between 19th and 25th June to give the sport a try.
Bev said: “I’d like to try and use this opportunity to promote carp angling and how great it is to all the ladies out there. So what better excuse than Women’s Sport Week to take your wife, girlfriend, mum, daughter, granddaughter, grandma, best friend, or even a lady you might like to impress, carp fishing and show them how brilliant our sport is!
“During the week, let’s try to get more women on the bank, even if it’s only for a couple of hours.”
