Twenty-nine fish were caught during the second Pallatrax Carp Open on Upper Tamar Lake near Bude, Cornwall, which was eventually won by Jason and Peter Budd, who had four fish for 42lb 11oz, winning them £2000 in prize money.
Runners-up spot and £1000 went to Michael Tomms and Aaron Rundell, who banked four fish for 42lb, while Barry and Ben Oconnor took third place on three fish for 27lb 2oz, earning them £500. All the anglers who took part went home with a goodie bag from the sponsors and fishing tickets from South West Lakes Trust.
