Bounty Lakes Location:
Situated in the outskirts of Le mans, France, Bounty Lakes boasts a perfect blend of natural beauty and accessibility. The serene lakes are surrounded by lush greenery, offering a peaceful retreat that feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While the location is slightly remote, it adds to the charm, providing a true sense of seclusion.
Bounty Lakes Accommodations:
Bounty Lakes also offers a range of accommodation options to suit various preferences. From cozy lakeside cabins to spacious pegs, each choice provides a comfortable and immersive experience. We opted to fish in a peg.
Fishing Experience:
As an avid angler, I was particularly impressed by the fishing opportunities at Bounty Lakes. The well-stocked lakes are home to a variety of fish, including carp up to 57lb and catfish up to 160lb. The staff’s commitment to maintaining the health of the fish population is evident, ensuring a rewarding experience for anglers. The lakes are equipped with well-maintained pegs, offering a convenient and enjoyable fishing environment. B1 is the harder of the lakes but has the bigger fish.
Facilities:
The facilities at Bounty Lakes are well-designed and cater to the needs of visitors. The on-site restaurant provides a range of great food (which you can eat in or have delivered to your peg), beers and snacks eliminating the need to travel off-site for supplies. Additionally, the communal areas, toilets, showers etc create a warm and inviting atmosphere for socializing with fellow guests. There is a pool table, table football, charging shed for any batteries etc and also an on site freezer for storing bait.
Staff and Service:
Paul the bailiff at Bounty Lakes is genuinely welcoming and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Whether offering fishing tips, assisting with any needs, or simply sharing their passion for the natural surroundings, his dedication contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.
Bounty Lakes Prices:
Out of Season is £150 a week (Nov – March) and in season is £295 a week (March till October). The food package is roughly £150 per person a week (breakfast and dinner for 7 days)
