Westbere Lake Mid Kent Fisheries is a carp lake based in Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom. It has a stock of around carp and is 110 Acres in size. The biggest carp is over 40lb+
We believe this 110 acre lake to be one of the premier fisheries in the South East with huge bags of bream and tench to double figures, roach to 3lb together with excellent pike fishing to 30lb. The Carp are now over 40lb the 2012/13 lake record was 42lb. There is a good head of 20’s and 30’s which are growing very quickly.
There is a Close Season on this lake from March 14th to June 16th inclusive. Westbere Lake requires keys for the gates as it is on a working quarry.
This amazing venue is available both on a single ticket and on the Gold Ticket .
There are voluntary work parties during the Close Season. These are run by members and bailiffs every Sunday, 8:30am to 12pm except bank holidays.
Please keep gates locked at all times, this is private property, and is not open to the public. We urge anyone who suspects suspicious activity to be reported to either a bailiff or Chris (fishery manager).
