The Oxbow Lake has been known to produce big bags of bream during matches and pleasuring fishing, with bags in excess of 100lb+. During 2016 the carp have started to show themselves with around 10 carp being caught. With it been around 4 acres in size, it doesn’t mean it’s an easy water as there have been plenty of blanks for carp fishing. With the lake not been carp fished till this year, no-one really knows what’s in there and when it floods fish can come in from the river. The biggest has been up to 27lb with another 22lb to back it up.
