Deepings No. 2 White House Fishery
Deepings No. 2 White House Fishery is a carp lake based in Langtoft, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. It has a stock of around 60+ carp and is 7 Acres in size. The biggest carp is over 40lb+
The Deepings No. 2 lake was excavated 40 years ago for aggregate and was flooded soon after. For the next 25 years it was used as a trout rearing lake and subsequently as a day ticket coarse fishery. Since we have owned the lake it has been stocked with approx 50-60 carp which range from low doubles to just over 40lbs. The lake also contains a small number of cats to 40lb plus.
The lake is approximately 7 acres in size, is between 2 to 3.5m deep with deep margins to 3 sides of the lake and has a secure gated entrance. Canadian pondweed, lily pads and reeds are present in the lake. New bivvy swims have been created round the lake and the two peinsulars have been placed out of bounds for fishing.
