|
Deepings No.1 White House Fishery is a carp lake based in Langtoft, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. It has a stock of around carp and is 6 Acres in size. The biggest carp is over 50lb+
The lake was originally excavated for gravel in the late fifties and was initially used for trout farming, but was turned into a trout fishery in the mid eighties and run as a put and take trout fishery until its acquisition by the current owner in November 2000. The lake has been extensively remodelled over the last 5 years with a comprehensive planting program and the introduction of 17 man-made swims built to be sympathetic to the nature of the lake and its surroundings.
The lake is 6 acres set in 10 acres of land and is fully fenced. Formerly two lakes depths vary between 2 feet over the old walkways and 12 to 14 feet holes in the old trout net areas, 3 islands, various weed beds and lily pads are present in the lake which all add to the to complexity and pleasure of the fishing.
THE FACILITIES
The fishery benefits from a large fenced secure car park adjacent to the lake, which is visible from all the swims. Toilet and shower are also provided along with a members lodge with coffee making and full cooking facilities.
