The stunning spring fed carp pool has been created out of previously water-logged pasture land, Depths range from 4’ to 12’ in places, with under-water plateaus, deep holes,weed beds and visible features in the form of 2 islands, several overhanging trees and some lovely margins!
The lake has a total of 8 swims to fish from: 6 singles & 2 doubles
All swims on the canal side are disabled friendly
To ensure that there is plenty of water for each angler, there is a maximum of 9 anglers on at any one time.
Pegs are spacious, bounded by logs or timber, covered in gravel or wood-chip and have excellent drainage to ensure a clean & comfortable dry stay in your bivy. All of the swims are accessible via a gravelled path around the pool making transport of your gear from the car park mud free.
Stocked with 100+ stunning commons, mirrors, ghosties and a few large koi carp from 8-33Lb+ that have been fed quality mixed diet of pellet and cereals for the last 12 months, some have acheived growth rates of 5-6lb.
