We have introduced a further 184 fish into Monument 2 and 22 fish into Monument 1. These are all stunning young fish with huge potential. The stockings included fish upto 31.12lb
Further trees are continuously being planted to further improve the landscape. When you visit the Monument Carp Fishery you can expect the highest standards of Management.
Created in November 2002 Monument Lakes is a specially designed carp fishery. The lake is open for session fishing to any angler and is regarded as one of the best day ticket venues in the country, with over 79 x 30lb fish its easy to see why.
Lake 1 holds over 300 carp and is eight acres in size. The lake has 79 carp over 30lb and is one of the best places in the UK to catch your first 30lb carp along with at least 4x40lbers that call the Monument home. 44-08lb best fish off this summer so far 2015.
When to fish
Our sessions are 36hrs long, these start at 6:30am (7.00am in winter) in the morning on the first day of the session and finishes at 7:00 (dusk in winter) of the evening on the second day of the session.
Monday -Tuesday session
Thursday – Friday session
Saturday – Sunday session
Longer sessions
If you wish to fish for longer than 36 hrs, that would be possible by booking 2 sessions that run back to back, unfortunately if you wished to do so you would have to reel in and stay in the overnight bivvy area until the session commences on the following morning. Showers & toilets are also available on site.
Many anglers want to fish next to their friends when night fishing, so you can choose your swim, when you book on if the pegs are available.
