The annual UK qualifying event for this autumn’s World Carp Classic will take place on RK Leisure’s Wraysbury 1 South Lake this April.
The 48-hour match will be the first event of its kind to be held on the South Lake, one of the country’s most historic waters. The winners of the match will be given free entry into the World Carp Classic XIX at Lad de Madine, France, in September. There will also be tackle and bait prizes for second and third place, and the angler who catches the biggest fish.
The competition will begin on Friday 21st April and conclude on Sunday 23rd April. There will be a welcome party and a barbeque on the Thursday evening for all the competitors. Entry to the match is priced at £295 and can be booked via www.worldcarpclassic.com/wcc-england-qualifier.
