The best of the best

The most prized carp in the UK today is almost certainly the Burghfield Common, which lives in the 100-acre Burghfield Main Lake.

The stunning and rarely caught fish has only been banked a dozen times or so in its life, and the man who really started the ball rolling was Nigel Sharp, when he landed it in May 2006. The full story appeared in issue 612 of Carp-Talk.
