The RAF Carp Team ran their first match of the year this week at a very wet and muddy Willows Lake in St Albans.
Plenty of fish were banked from the prolific venue throughout the competition. There were 13 pairs in action and despite the poor conditions, the fish played ball. The results were as follows:
- 1st Place – Paul and Emrys Sampson – 242lb 6oz
- 2nd Place – Tom Brown and Luke Doswell – 106¾lb
- 3rd Place – James Mitchell and Si Cunningham – 94¾lb
