Tilgate Park Fisheries is a carp lake based in Crawley, West Sussex, United Kingdom. It has a stock of around carp and is 8 Acres in size. The biggest carp is over 20lb+
Here we are a small club of fishermen and women who grew up and old with the fishing at Tilgate Park. We have seen many changes over the years and maybe not all for the better and so a small group of people got together to change things.
We quickly started by removing all the snags around Campbell”s lake mostly broken and abandoned platforms that had left larger exposed stakes that can be reached from the bank. This was back breaking manual work but we got all the way round in the end and we feel this has contributed greatly to safety at the waters edge for all park users.
Then we moved on and created all the new platforms you can see around Campbell^s lake today provided the best facilities for our anglers to fish from. Again hard work but we like to feel if you want change then get involved and make it happen.
We are about the fishing and the catch and feel that we can make changes big or small that can improve the fishing for all ages and abilities by providing a one stop place to fish. If you are after the bigger fish then go to Campbell’s take your chances and hope for a good one. Go to silt to enjoy a good days fishing and catching regularly.
