Gwinear Lakes is a hidden gem in the heart of cornwall, with two beautifully kept, well stocked fishing lakes open all year round.
Our specimen lake was established in 1988 and over the years has matured into one of the best day ticket fishing venues in Cornwall. Since its ownership change in October 2014 the lake has had new carp added to its existing stock levels. In total 40 carp between 15lb – 20lb and 33 carp at 20lb+. The lake now has nine over 30lb+ carp with the largest being nearly 40lb. The lake has varying water depths, with features including reeds, wildflowers, water lilies, a willow tree hanging in the water and two islands in the middle. You can purchase a day ticket at our tackle shop from 8:00 in the morning 7 days a week.
