A well known water among local anglers as being hugely prolific, especially in the warmer months, but still fishing well throughout the winter due to it’s greater depths. The Reservoir now has large gravel swims and a gravel path the whole lake. The Reservoir mainly contains a large stock of Carp from 3lb to 30lb+, with the majority being high singles into double figures. Carp of all kinds can be caught from this water, with a few Koi and a good head of Ghost Carp. Due to the large stock of the lake it always throws up a few surprises. There is also a good stock of Roach to 2lb, as well as Perch to 3lb, Bream, Skimmers, Tench, Rudd and Gudgeon. Huge numbers of fish can be caught in the warmer months fishing close in, in the margins, or up on the surface.
