Our latest and greatest addition to our specimen carp waters.
We opened the lake in June 2016 having extended it and dug out new bivvy pegs. We stocked it earlier on in 2016 with the fish stock from Pendle View Fisheries, details of these were as follows:
- 4 thirty pound carp
- 25 twenty pound carp
- Over 100 double figure carp including a number of grass carp and Ghosties
The water comprises of 12 pegs with a number of double pegs. It is around 3 acres in size with depths from 3 to 25ft in part. All the pegs have been layered with stone then wood chip and is easily accessible.
Pad Lake offers without doubt some of the best carp fishing to be found in the northwest of England.
