Holden’s Lake Embryo Angling is a carp lake based in Norton Disney, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. It has a stock of around 300+ carp and is 11 Acres in size. The biggest carp is over 29lb+
Much like Pettitt’s lake, Holden’s has been designed as a lower stocked, big fish style venue, rather than a runs water like Billy’s and Hodgett’s.
The lake was stocked with 400 stunning carp from both VS Fisheries and Mark Simmond’s and early signs are showing that these fish are doing very well indeed! The water is clear which has turned the fish extremely dark, so although not the easiest lake on the complex, the rewards are certainly worth it when you do get them!
As with all of the lakes at Norton, the fish in Holden’s have been fed plenty of house pellet over the last year or so, so ignore it at your peril!
