In the Champagne region, less than 3 hours from Calais, is Grand Tarnauds, a magnificent 9-acre gravel pit. The owner has been working on the estate for over 2 years to bring you optimal fishing conditions. Judge for yourself: each swim has a log cabin with all comforts, including 2 double bed, kitchen, electricity, shower,…. Gravel swims allow you to explore the lake’s many hot spots with beautiful fish ready to fight.
The lake already had a satisfactory carp stock with several magnificent fish. To give you even better chances of catches, the fish-farmer owner, has realised an impressive stocking of 250 carp of up to 55 lbs. To that, add two sturgeons up to 92 lbs and a catfish of 140 lbs (2m) and you have a lake well worth discovering.
