This lake is aimed at the specialist Carp angler.
We have decided to devote this water to large carp. As regulars know we have been moving larger carp from the other two ponds. The existing stock are between 12 to 28 lbs.
We have also supplemented existing fish with a new stocking of 31 selected carp between 12lbs and 20lbs. This water is fed with high protein pellets to obtain an improved growth rate and we would expect the new stock to reach mid twentys in two to three years.
We have an on going stocking and netting program is in place for all ponds to create a sustainable fishery.
