A heavily stocked lake of near 8 acres and home to Carp of all varieties, Koi’s, Mirrors, Ghost, Commons and Grass Carp. Over the years much breeding has taken place within this lake producing beautiful coloured Carp. These Carp are renown for fighting hard on this lake. Carp sizes are to around the late 40lbs. Purpose built bivvy swims are constructed along one bank with a new bay of social swims. This lake has a clay bottom with a gully running down the middle. The wood side is not fished and can be used effectively as an island. The Furnace Lake water is from natural land drainage of some 1,200 acres. This lake has clean Ladies & Gentlemen’s flushing toilets.
