Follyfoot Fishery
Follyfoot Fishery is a carp lake based in Bridgwater, Somerset, United Kingdom. It has a stock of around carp and is 3 Acres in size. The biggest carp is over 30lb+
The lake is approx. three acres in size, and is from roughly 8ft to 10ft deep.
We have 9 purpose built wooden huts/cabins built around the edge of our lake. Each has a platform, a small table and a battery operated light.
Please note that these are empty cabins to replace a bivvy, not self catering chalet accommodation. We have an on-site toilet and shower.
Follyfoot Fishery is heavily stocked with Koi, Common, Mirror, and Ghost Carp up to 30pounds.
The biggest fish caught from our lake is a 30pounds and 2oz Ghost, and we believe there are several in the 30 pound region.
All the fish in the lake are self bred from the original stock put in during 1993, subsequently we are completely free of Koi herpes. This is why it is so important that you use our own nets and unhooking mats during your time here.
