Denham lake is a mature gravel pit of approx 45 acres, situated in the Colne Valley, the heart of specimen hunters territory.
There are approx 85 swims on the venue,nearly half of which can be fished from the car.
There are gravel bars,plateaus, marginal tree cover for close in fishing and an island which holds fish all season.
Large areas of lilly pads are present on the east bank which offer good fishing. The club as a regular stocking policy, in 2004 we stocked 25 fish from Mark Simmonds at 14 to 16 pound, these are now mid twenties. The lake currently holds fish over 40-0-0 with approx 25 fish over 30-0-0. There are numerous fish over 20-0-0 and each season we see new thirties being banked. The specimen group membership allows you to night fish the venue whenever you like during the season.
