We’re really proud to open these 4 stunning cabins, built during the COVID period the construction of these cabins has been difficult to say the least! However here at lodge on a lake we think we’ve created a stunning, quiet secluded fishing (or not!) haven. Each cabin has a stunning composite decking that that drops down to a fishing platform.
The lake that they’re on is the Bridge pond, which was built in 2005 and matured beautifully into a superb lake. It’s always been one of our more popular lakes and is shaped like a figure of 8. In the winter of 2018/19 we heavily netted this lake removing lots of small fish inc bream, carp and roach to leave in the best of our stock, to complement this we stocked 20 fish between 18-22lb and have heavily fed them throughout 2020. This winter 2020/21 we will be stocking the lake with a similar amount of fish and running through the net again to remove smaller fish leaving over 40 x 20lb fish along with a good head of mid to high doubles. Lake record is currently 28lb 7oz.
