Blackland Lakes
Blackland Lakes is a carp lake based in Calne, Wiltshire, United Kingdom. It has a stock of around carp and is 1 Acre in size. The biggest carp is over 20lb+
The coarse fishery at Blackland Lakes is comprised of two Lakes; the larger Heron Lake is approximately 1 acre with depths ranging from 4 to 12 feet. The second is Stan’s Lake which is approximately half an acre with depths from 4 to 9 feet. The later one was named after Stan Haines who constructed them in 1983 with his massive dragline excavator. The chalky water has proved to be an ideal habitat for the fish.
Both Lakes are well stocked. Heron lake contains Mirror Carp up to 20 lbs.
