Roads within the complex provide lakeside parking and also allow you to get pretty close to the river as well. There is a fee for taking your car into the complex but fishing is free if you have an MKAA season ticket. Facilities during the school holidays and throughout the the summer include a small general store, cafe and a newly revamped toilet block. Most species are present in the lakes including carp to 28lbs, tench over 8lb, some hefty bream and pike to 30 lbs. On its day the river looping around the park can be a real cracker, and the weir pool holds barbel, chub, dace roach and so on.
