A large mixed fishery of around 25 acres, this gravel pit has become a Mecca for Carp anglers. The head of large Carp is phenomenal as there are currently 15 different forties, 4 fifties and approximately 70 thirties present at the moment. There are specimen Tench and Bream into double figures, enormous nets of Bream (well over 100lbs) are regularly taken and individual fish have been recorded to over 18lb. The large Roach and Rudd are more elusive, but dedication can produce spectacular results. One day ticket angler had thirty Roach in one session, three of them exceeded 2lb. Perch also show at times and will respond well to a noisy plug. Pike have been caught to over 30lb with a good head of twenty pounders present.
