This lake is consistent throughout the year, providing good catches of silver fish during the winter months. Match weights have been recorded in excess of 250lbs (2018), comprising carp, bream and tench in equal measures. Luncheon meat and paste scores well during the summer with maggots and pellets during the colder months. Silver fish weights have exceeded 50lbs, with many fish coming shallow on maggot or caster fed regularly. Tench fishing in this lake is remarkable, with fish exceeding 7lb being caught and numerous around the 3-4lb mark. Easy access pegs available in places.
