The Lake is home to 140 home grown Commons, Mirrors and Ghost Carp
that have been selected for their quality, fast growth rate and individual scale patterns.
We currently now have 7 Carp over 30 lbs, the biggest of these is current “official” lake record
“Samson” our 2 tone Mirror who came out on 13/12/20 at 36 lb – 5 oz’s.
“Dotty” at 31 lb – 8oz’s on 28/1/18 is our record Common male.
We have 12 Carp at 25 lb + and 50+ other Carp over 20 lbs. The remainder are 12 – 18 lbs,
but we make no apology for leaving a few fish under 10 lb in the lake as these are important for the future.
