This was originally our match lake but due to the increasing popularity of carp fishing, we have taken the opportunity to make this our second specimen lake. Measuring approximately 3 acres. This is the biggest of our three lakes, and with depths up to 11ft is our deepest too. Originally having 26 match swims, this lake is under refurbishment where we will reduce this to 13 luxury swims and in keeping with the Churchgate tradition will have fibre Wi-Fi and electric hook-ups as standard. Current stock is way over 300 carp ranging from 5lb to 25lb but we plan to net this in the winter taking up to 150 carp out and introducing two 30lb+ target fish and a dozen mid 20lb’ers.
This lake could well become the premium specimen lake of the complex in the future with extensive restocking aimed at this water.
