|
Tarn Pond is a carp lake based in Puttenham, Surrey, United Kingdom. It has a stock of around 250 carp and is 8 Acres in size. The biggest carp is over 20+
More commonly called Cutt Mill, Tarn Pond is a fine estate lake, set amidst woodland on the edge of scenic Puttenham Common. An extensive carp stocking programme has been undertaken to return this water as a premier carp fishery.
As we come to the completion of the restocking programme, Tarn Pond has now approximately 250 carp, with a mix of fast growing and slower growing fish. Most are now in double-figures. The original Leney carp are being reported well into the 20lb mark. Lots of Tench are showing, largest at 9lb to date, Crucian Carp to 3lb+ with lots of small silver fish making for good mixed sport. The future’s bright for Tarn Pond.
