This is one of the smaller lakes on the complex, alongside Lowries and The Ivo. It is a beautiful ‘traditional’ style tench and carp water, with lily and reed beds, offering big tench and bream and mixed coarse fishing in the spring and summer. regular bags of tench in the 6-8lb range are commonplace. It also contains approx 100 stocked carp which are now regularly coming out at upper doubles and low 20’s with older carp to over 30lb and was featured in Terry Hearns Book, in pursuit of the largest. During the summer months its a great fishery for surface fishing and also lends itself to stalking tactics.
